Adam Ebbin // Virginia State Senator
Monique is an advocate who leads with empathy. In a time when our core values are being challenged, she stands as a leader we need to ensure our schools stay true to their purpose. When Arlington students faced racial harassment on the field, Monique didn’t hesitate to travel to Richmond to champion fairness in Virginia sports. I appreciate her advocacy and her leadership.

She will fight to maximize public education funding and ensure it stays within our public schools, where it belongs. At a critical time when public education, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility are under attack, I’m excited to support Moe for School Board. Her positivity, deep community roots, professional background, lived experience, and empathetic leadership is exactly what we need in these challenging times.

In my mind, what sets Moe apart is her genuine authenticity and unwavering dedication to serving others. I first met Moe through our shared advocacy for students with disabilities in Arlington Public Schools, and I was impressed by her compassion, empathy, and desire to serve those whose voice is often overlooked within the system. She is well-known for her work in Challenging Racism, but she has also been an active APS parent for years, serving in various roles in PTAs, as a disability advocate, and as co-chair of the 2024 APS School Bond campaign. She is a dedicated community leader who aspires to make her community a better place to live and make our schools a place where every student can thrive. I would be honored to serve beside her on the Arlington School Board.

-
Alex Sakes // President, Penrose Civic Association & Chairman, Columbia Pike Presidents Group (PPG)
As a life-long Arlingtonian and graduate of Arlington County Public Schools, I know first-hand the importance of setting up our students for success. As a mother of two Arlington County Public School students, so does Moe Bryant. Moe has spent years advocating for our most vulnerable students within APS given her background as co-Chair of the 2024 APS School Bond Campaign and extensive volunteer work across APS. When our student athletes were subject to racial slurs and harassment, Moe didn't wait for elected leaders to act, she stepped up by organizing the grassroots campaign #PlayFairNow, garnering 15,000 petitions and attention from the Virginia House of Delegates. With her background as Executive Director of "Challenging Racism", Moe has been at the forefront of equity programming across APS in an era where our Arlington values of "diversity, equity, and inclusion" are under renewed threat by our federal government. It is with that in-mind that I am proud to support Moe as the next member of the Arlington County School Board.
-
Micaela Pond // 25 year APS Retired Teacher & Community Organizer and Activist

Moe is a champion for equity, transparency, and excellence in education and will lead with empathy. With a deep commitment to listening to families, supporting educators, and prioritizing student success, Moe will bring fresh ideas and a collaborative approach to the board.
Moe is the right person to ensure that every child—regardless of background or zip code—has access to a world-class education. Moe understands the challenges that students, parents, and teachers face and has the vision and experience to help strengthen our schools, improve communication, and advocate for policies that put students first.
I encourage everyone in Arlington County who cares about the future of our schools to support Moe Bryant. Let’s elect a leader who will work for all of us!

Marty Swaim // former president of the Arlington Education Association, retired APS teacher, co-founder and retired director of Challenging Racism & recipient 2025 Arlington Community Foundation Spirit of Community Service Award
Moe Bryant is a long distance runner for the education of every child, for the interests of all of the community, and for social justice. I met Mo in 2015 when she joined an APS funded conversation for parents on racial justice which I was facilitating at Swanson. We have been working together ever since.
Mo is gifted at listening to everyone, at helping people to listen to each other, at building bridges between diverse communities, and at problem solving. On the School Board she will work to get everyone at the table for discussion: parents, teachers admin and students, no matter how tough the issue. Moe can help people talk constructively about anything. She is a leader who listens, works toward a consensus for action.
I whole heartedly support Moe Bryant as my candidate for School Board. Please cast your caucus vote for Moe Bryant. -

Moe possesses the temperament, skill set, expertise, and moral compass that will serve the best interests of our children.
In these difficult times, we need leaders who have the skills to bring people with different viewpoints together to have tough conversations that will lead to decisions that deliver results for our children. As a nonprofit organization executive and mother of two children who successfully navigated the public school system, she understands and appreciates the weight of the office to chart the county’s course to empower ALL children to reach their highest potential.

Her deep community roots and knowledge along with her expert facilitation skills will be great contributions to the School Board. Moe Bryant is an exceptional choice to be the School Board member that can inspire all learners to reach their highest potential as responsible, productive citizens.
